A separate out-door for the dept. Of Kumarbhritya also functioning in the hospital for out coming daily patient about 25,00 number of patient per annum are treated in the OPD of Kumarbhritya dept. of this Medical College.
Besides, the above, an antenatal clinic is functioning under the department of Kumarbhritya & pediatric cases are being examined & proper care & advices are given regularly.
An immunization unit also functioning 2 days in a week being attached to this department & the children & the pregnant mother are given various immunization regularly.
The department is upgraded to post graduate standard in the year 1998. Apart from the under graduate & post graduate teaching & training various govt. of India sponsored schemes like re-orientation training programme for I.S.M Doctors & physicians & R.C.H programmers are being conducted periodically by the department. of Kumarbhritya, GAM, Puri.
