Operation Theater (OT):

In IPD the department of Shalyatantra has been provided with an operation theatre with necessary instruments & equipment. Operations are being conducted strictly on procedure laid down by Sushruta.

Operation are being extensively conducted on proctological disease i.e

  • Piles,
  • Fistula in ano,
  • Anal fissure,
  • Anal stricture,
  • Candilomata,
  • Anal cyst,
  • Anal tumor sinus
    • etc.

    Besides the proctological operation of many other disease are being managed viz

  • Proctorrhoea,
  • Incontinency of rectum,
  • Anal injury,
  • Acute fissure in ano
    • etc.

    Other operation are

  • carbuncles,
  • Tumors,
  • Hydrocele,
  • Pyocele,
  • Scrotal tumor,
  • Hernia,
  • F ractures
    • & many other possible surgical disorders.
